Clover, SC

The town with LOVE in the center. This small town was named after the patch of clover that grew under a water tank that serviced the steam railroad. The town that acquired its official name in 1887 is still a small town of friendly, country folks. Originally a textile based town, Clover has an adorable historic downtown area of shops and a few restaurants. The area is mostly beautiful green countryside of barns, cows, horses, gardens and pastures.

This area is perfect for those who like to get out of the hectic city, sit on the front porch and enjoy the fabulous SC weather.

Just on the SW outskirts of Charlotte, Clover is just minutes from Lake Wylie, the bustling new shops of Steele Creek and 30 minutes from the airport. Clover has 3 parks: New Center, Clover Community & Roosevelt Parks and many riding stables.

Clover is developing many new neighborhoods with a wide range of price points. Whether you want a true custom home or a starter home you will likely get a nice piece of land with your home in Clover.
